DIY Manicure Guide
Clean your nails with polish remover
Clip, file and buff. Clip nails first, if necessary. Then file gently, moving in one direction to get your tips square, round, or somewhere in between. Buffing your nails brightens them making them more youthful and smooth.
Push back your cuticles using a cuticle remover and stick. Never cut your cuticles they are there to prevent infections.
Exfoliate your hands and upper arms. Use a fragrant scrub then wash hands and arms afterwards to get rid of any residue.
Moisturize your hands, cuticles, upper arms
Apply a base coat
Apply your first coat of colour
Apply your second coat of colour
Apply a top coat. Don’t miss this stage otherwise your manicure will not be as long lasting and more prone to chipping.
